QV RANGE HEADLINE FEATURES
Counter Weight Balance System
The Series uses an exclusively designed counter weight balance system.
The counter-balance weight moves on a guide shaft for added stability, better cutting finishes and to assure movement straightness accuracy.
There is no vibration in the forward/backwards motion or right/left directions. This creates superior workpiece surface accuracy to meet various mold machining requirements.
Rugged Construction For Optimum Strength, Rigidity and Stability
The compact design with minimum footprint size still accommodates large and heavy work pieces
Four slideways on Y Axis fully support the X Axis and eliminate overhanging problems.
The major structural parts are manufactured from high quality Meehanite cast iron (FC-30), hardened to over HB190 and tempered to relieve stress.
Box ways on the three axes.
Box Way surfaces are hardened by high frequency induction to over HRC55 with over 2 mm depth.
The contact slideway surfaces are coated with Turcite-B combined with fine precision hand scraping.
All three axes are equipped with class C3 and 40mm (QV117 / QV127 / QV147) and 50mm (QV159 / QV179 / QV209) diameter precision pre-tensioned ball screws.

SV is designed for extra value and built for optimum performance
Pinnacle machines are all ergonomically designed to increase the comfort level of the operator, and to reduce the operator's physical fatigue during long time operation.
The distance between table and operator is reduced to the minimum, featuring easy loading and unloading of work pieces

The hardened box guideways (on 3 axes) are heat treated with high frequency induction, the hardened depth is more than 2mm,resulting in a surface hardness higher than HRC 55.
The sliding contact surfaces, flange of motor seats or ball screw seats are precision fine-scraped by hand, with at least 12-scrapes per square inch.
The Slideway surfaces are also coated with Turcite-B in addition to the precision scraping.
All three axes are equipped with class C3 and 36mm (SV85/SV105) and 40mm (SV116/SV126) diameter precision ball screws.
